Earth - Sofia Santana

In Earth, Sofia Santana starts from the question of what, after all, the earth we walk on every day is, to build a performance about soil, belonging, and disappearance. The creation is part of the Portuguese southern cycle and brings together agricultural, mining, and urban listening sessions, in a dialogue between science and empirical knowledge. On stage are Laura Frederico, Marina Leonardo, and Sofia Santana herself, with video design by Nuno Barroca, lighting by Jorge Gomes Ribeiro, and sound by Aboo Gabi.
