Thirst - Land, People and Beasts, by Aquilino Ribeiro

In THIRST, ASTA – Teatro e Outras Artes draws on *Aldeia – Terra, Gente e Bichos*, by Aquilino Ribeiro, to create a theatrical performance with a dreamlike and highly visual atmosphere. At the center of the action are two women who arrive in a place marked by dead trees, dry earth, and traces of what once was, where the search for water and for a habitable place begins.

The show proposes a journey into a fabricated and dreamed world, built from a sensory language that invites the audience to enter a territory of images, shadows, and mystery. Aquilino Ribeiro’s writing serves as the starting point for this creation, signed by Patrick Murys, with performances by Carmo Teixeira and Bárbara Soares.
