Black Scabbardfish Gastronomic Festival - Câmara de Lobos

The Black Scabbardfish Gastronomic Festival – Regional Produce Festival brings together, in the bay of Câmara de Lobos, some of the most typical specialties of Madeiran cuisine. The event pays tribute to the men of the sea who bring black scabbardfish to the table, one of the great symbols of regional cuisine. Originating in 1993, it is still promoted by the Parish Council of Câmara de Lobos and combines music, entertainment, and several live cooking moments featuring regional products.
