Madeira Gastronomic Festival – SAL

The Madeira Gastronomic Festival – SAL takes place at Praça do Povo, on Funchal’s seafront, between 10 and 19 July 2026. The event runs daily from 16:00/18:00 until midnight, with free admission; only purchases at the various counters and tasting areas are paid for. The programme highlights 8 Gastronomic Routes — couscous, chícharo, shellfish and molluscs, fish, tubers, fruit, bread and convent sweets — and includes live showcookings, workshops, guided tastings and musical entertainment with acoustic concerts, DJ sets at sunset and performances by regional music groups.
