Feast of Saint Peter - Câmara de Lobos

The Saint Peter Festivities in Câmara de Lobos are a celebration rooted in the local identity and dedicated to Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen. The festival brings back old traditions of the village, with popular marches, mass and a solemn procession, as well as the ethnographic parade that evokes the 19th-century procession. Over the course of the days there is entertainment, music, traditional food, and a pyrotechnic show over the bay, in an atmosphere marked by devotion and the collective memory of the parish.
