Sol Garcia Mechita

*Mechita* is a creation by Sol Garcia that brings together six women on a mirror-like stage, where the body emerges as a living archive, a territory of memory, and a place of resistance.

The piece begins with fragments of childhood, freedom, voice, and womanhood, bringing together the creator's experience and that of the performers. In this crossing, it also evokes a Roma heritage passed down through the paternal family and builds a poetic celebration of the choral body, transformation, and the fleeting beauty of living.
