about the event

In this staged guided tour of Theatro Gil Vicente, two figures who seem to have inhabited the theatre since its beginnings lead the audience through its corners and through the stories stored within the building.

The route crosses the theatre’s official history with the memory of those who experienced it from the inside: people who passed through there, worked there, or attended performances. The proposal invites the audience to discover the space through these layers of remembrance and presence, in an intimate and theatrical format.

The creation is by Flora Miranda, Ricardo Correia and Rita Grade, with text by Ricardo Correia and performed by Flora Miranda and Fábio Rocha. The 7:00 p.m. session is presented in Portuguese Sign Language (LGP).
