Maia Blues Fest 2026

The Maia Blues Fest 2026 returns to the Fórum da Maia Outdoor Auditorium with a free program dedicated to blues and its influences, bringing together national and international acts over three days. This edition once again combines concerts with a strong identity, with more intimate moments and others with greater energy, in a lineup designed to establish the festival as a meeting point for blues audiences.

The opening features Nico & The Bluebirds and Robbert Duijf, winner of the European Blues Challenge 2024 and recipient of the Dutch Blues Award. The following day, Andhrea & The Black Cats and Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne take to the stage, a leading figure in blues, boogie-woogie and rhythm & blues. The closing night is led by the Maia Blues Fest Band, a project born from the Combo/Blues workshops coordinated by Budda Guedes, and Erica Brown & The Bluegrass Connection, who bring the energy of traditional North American bluegrass to Maia. Before the festival, the Combo/Blues workshops also take place on 8, 9 and 10 September at the Venepor Municipal Auditorium, aimed at participants aged 14 or over with their own instrument.
