Celebrations of the 124th Anniversary of Theatro Gil Vicente

The celebrations of the 124th anniversary of Theatro Gil Vicente mark the history of a space that presents itself as a living heritage of Barcelos. The celebration was designed to bring the public closer to the theatre beyond the auditorium, also occupying public space and creating moments of encounter, participation and sharing.

Throughout the day, the programme includes the play *Sempre que falo à frente de muitas pessoas parece-me que errei na porta*, presented in two moments, a cake-cutting, and later the performance by La Familia Gitana. It is a festive proposal that brings together words, celebration and music, in an atmosphere of tribute to the theatre itself and to the relationship it maintains with the community.
