MAN-MAN

In "MAN-MAN", Tiago Miguel presents at Teatro de Vila Real his first solo piece, as part of Palcos Instáveis / Segunda Casa. The creation takes the audience into an intimate, everyday space, where the character MAN-MAN confronts the body, clothing, and the various layers of identity that emerge and dissolve throughout the piece.

The work begins with a gesture of undressing and dressing again to think about freedom, the conflict between inhabiting the body and fleeing from it, and the search for a kind of inner cleansing, between luxuries and false egos. The performance is part of the Segunda Casa programme, dedicated to the dissemination of choreographic works developed in the context of Palcos Instáveis/1as Obras, in partnership with Teatro Municipal do Porto.
