Exhibition dedicated to the Cape Verdean artist Marcelino Santos at the Museu do Neo-Realismo

The Museu do Neo-Realismo presents "Marcelino Santos: Realismo Ilhéu", an exhibition dedicated to the Cape Verdean artist Marcelino Santos. The show brings together recent works, tapestries and drawings, revealing an oeuvre marked by the close relationship between textile and drawing, as well as by attention to the daily life and popular traditions of Cape Verde.

Curated by Carlos Noronha Feio and Ricardo Barbosa Vicente, the exhibition offers an in-depth reading of Marcelino Santos’s output, highlighting the themes, cultural references and visual languages that run through his artistic path. Admission is free.
