Bandstand Dances: “ESPÍRITO NATIVO”

In "Espírito Nativo", tango occupies the center of the show, crossing paths with some traditional Argentine pieces and live dance. The format brings together four musicians and two dancers/hosts, in a meeting between Argentine and Portuguese performers with experience in Latin American music and Argentine tango dance.

The instruments mentioned include bandoneón, violin, and guitar, with a lead singer. In addition to the afternoon performance, the program includes a dance workshop with the dancers/hosts and recorded music, reinforcing the participatory side of Bailes do Coreto.

Bailes do Coreto is a project of the Municipality of Vila Real that aims to recall the dances of 50 or more years ago, with dance music from different genres and origins.
