Street Parade: “Sorriso”

"Sorriso" is a poetic circus performance, presented by Teatro Só, that starts from the ordinary life of an elderly couple to speak about love, memories, and absence. Rather than relying on a tragic passion, the piece follows a story of affection fulfilled in a life of smiles, where loneliness, memory, and the ghosts of what remains continue to inhabit those who stay behind.

The proposal sketches a meeting between the visible and the invisible, suggesting that the soul of the one who has departed continues to bless the air of the one who loved. With sensitivity for all ages, the performance blends poetry and imagination in an intimate circus setting.
