At This Hour, It Snows in Childhood

In this creation with Companhia Maior, Victor Hugo Pontes proposes a markedly physical approach, based on working with performers whose bodies hold a long journey and accumulated stage experience. On stage, different ages overlap to highlight the contrast between youth and maturity, but also to celebrate the beauty of a body that has lost speed and strength and gained memory, definition, and intention.

The show also evokes the poetry of Manuel António Pina, with the poem "A esta hora, na infância neva", from *Cuidados Intensivos* (1994), and also incorporates the poem by Boris Vian written for the song "Le desérteur" (1954). From these references, the piece opens a space for reflection on what remains, what changes, and the way childhood reappears in the present.
