Feedback

In "FEEDBACK", André Braga and Cláudia Figueiredo bring to the stage a creation by Central Elétrica built from live-captured and manipulated sound, the body in presence, and a scenography reduced to the essentials: stones, a microphone and a smoke machine.

The piece starts from the idea of feedback as a zone of passage between inside and outside, crossing confessional memory, listening and a search into the amplification of micro-perceptions, the stretching of time and the evocation of a primal time. The proposal insists on the rawness of gesture and on the direct relationship between body, source of sound, technique and matter.

The performance brings together André Braga and João Sarnadas, with lighting design by Cárin Geada and production and stage direction by Ana Carvalhosa. The text is based on a free composition from excerpts by Herberto Helder, Rui Nunes, Marguerite Yourcenar, Davi Kopenawa, Walter Benjamin, Francis Ponte and Antonin Artaud. The performance is for ages 12 and up and lasts 60 minutes.
