Sons do Douro 897 | Meeting - Project Closure

The closing event for the Douro INclusivo project includes the public presentation of the Concerto Sons do Douro 897, the launch of the Caderno de Viagem 897 and the premiere of the documentary film 897 Km de Douro. The programme is shared between the Museu do Douro and the Teatro Ribeiro Conceição. On 6 April there is a concert at 21:30; on 7 April there are themed sessions, a preview screening of the film and a visit to the exhibition Douro: Matéria & Espírito; in the evening the film premieres.

OBJECTIVES This training action aims to characterise, understand and apply documentary photography of species and artefacts of all typologies for inventory, conservation and study. Throughout the sessions, various topics will be addressed regarding the observation and recording of the physical condition of the item, the transformations and interventions it has undergone, as well as the visual information obtained in the visible and invisible spectrum. In a final phase, the training will focus on the characterisation and identification of existing photographic supports, as well as their sizing and conservation.
