Feel the Summer - Penafiel + Rio Mau

Liberdade, Liberdade, by Momento – Artistas Independentes, is a contemporary circus performance that combines celebration and memory to engage with the current political context. The creation begins with the exchange of letters between members of one of the performers' family during the final period of the dictatorship in Portugal, in a interplay between historical evocation and physical and emotional resistance on stage.

Directed by Diogo Freitas and with dramaturgy by Filipe Gouveia, it features performances by David David and Tjaša Dobravec. The stage setup includes a lit rotating floor and a Chinese pole, in a work that combines silks, aerial acrobatics, and balancing in two performances in different venues.
