Sports Event: Salga Relay

Baía da Salga and Regimento de Guarnição N.º 1 host the Salga Relay, a sports event scheduled for 19 July 2026, between 09:00 and 11:30. Inspired by the Azorean resistance in the Battle of Salga of 1581, the initiative combines sport and historical memory, in a team course that values camaraderie, personal achievement, and a sense of mission.
