Playful Program

The Education and Mediation Service of MAC/CCB has developed a playful program that combines free play, mediation, and direct contact with art. The proposal is based on two projects and extends the idea of play to the inside of the museum and to the outside, inviting a more interactive and sensitive visit.

Inside, the project «Aprender a brincar para a brincar aprender» includes a Playful Room with mediating objects inspired by works from the MAC/CCB collections. These elements give rise to games and challenges adapted to various age groups and are accompanied by a Playful Room Sheet with texts and suggestions designed for younger visitors. The room also includes proposals linked to temporary exhibitions, and is regularly updated to renew the experience of those who visit the museum.

The program takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, with morning and afternoon sessions, and is based on the conviction that playing and learning can be central principles in the relationship with art and with the museum space.
