Pedro e o Lobo

*Peter and the Wolf* is a new creation by Companhia Nacional de Bailado, having its world premiere and conceived for children and young people. The work brings Sergei Prokofiev's famous musical fable to dance in a performance that blends movement, music and fantasy to explore themes such as imagination, discovery and enchantment.

The musical interpretation is by Jovem Orquestra Portuguesa, under the direction of Jorge Leiria. The creation is signed by Andreas Heise and is part of the *Ciclo novos públicos* programme, bringing together dance and live music in a proposal aimed at different age groups.

There are sessions announced for schools on 3 and 4 June and public sessions on 5 and 6 June, at 11:30 and 15:00.
