PDL26: Carlos Alberto Moniz

Carlos Alberto Moniz presents a concert that intertwines songs from his memory with stories lived in the first person, in an artistic journey shaped by the sea, the Azores, poetry and freedom. Throughout the show, he revisits 55 years of artistic life and the strength of Azorean music and poets of the Portuguese language, in a register that looks to the past without remaining trapped in it. The performance also recovers a discourse of resistance against forgetting and inertia, celebrating truth, fraternity and peace.
