FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival

The 22nd edition of FEST takes place at Centro Multimeios de Espinho and spreads across several venues in the city, bringing together cinema and the industry section over nine days. The opening features the national premiere of *Yellow Letters*, by İlker Çatak, and the closing film is *Complaint Nº. 713317*, by Yasser Shafiey. At the heart of the program is the Golden Lynx Competition, with 10 fiction and documentary feature films, and the Grand National Prize section, dedicated to 22 short films. In parallel, the *Be Kind Rewind: Andrzej Wajda* cycle revisits the works of the Polish director and also includes a selection of shorts from Wajda School. The industry strand brings together masterclasses, workshops within Training Ground, and proposals for professionals in the Actor’s Hub, Sound & Music Hub, and Director’s Hub spaces.
