Summer Holidays at Serralves

Summer Holidays at Serralves offer, over seven weeks, themed workshops for children aged 4 to 12, organised by age groups and designed for the morning and/or afternoon. Each week combines consecutive three-hour sessions, with challenges linked to Contemporary Art, Cinema, Architecture, the Environment, Biodiversity and Landscape.

The experience takes place in contact with several spaces of the Foundation — the Museum of Contemporary Art, Casa de Serralves, Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira and the Park — and combines discovery, creation and group exploration. The programme also includes free care at the beginning and end of the day, as well as a snack in the middle of the morning and/or afternoon. Lunch is not included, although it is possible to use the Foundation’s facilities for the meal of children who need it, accompanied by the educational team.

Registration can be made online, at the Museum reception or by Multibanco reference, subject to confirmation in order of arrival and to available places. The maximum capacity is 15 children, and entry is via Rua Bartolomeu Velho, 141. Cancellations must be communicated 48 hours in advance, and the pricing includes a discount for holders of the Amigo Família card.
