Porto Book Fair 2026

For its 13th edition, the Porto Book Fair returns to the Gardens of the Crystal Palace with a broader programme and 140 stands, strengthening its commitment to parallel activities. Over several weeks, the event brings together more than 200 initiatives, including talks, concerts, round tables, special sessions, performances, exhibitions, activities for babies, children, young people and families, as well as book presentations.

One of the central strands is the tribute cycle to the poet Inês Lourenço, with more than a dozen moments and an associated exhibition. The programme is curated by Teresa Coutinho, the tribute is curated by Helena Teixeira da Silva and the special sessions, as well as the Quintas de Leitura, are directed by João Gesta. Among the announced highlights are also concerts, staged readings and presentations of works in dialogue with literature and contemporary thought.
