Guided Tour of the School Museum

The School Museum of Marrazes offers a guided tour of its collection dedicated to the great educators and the history of education in Portugal. The route includes a replica of a classroom from the Estado Novo, school and educational equipment and utensils, iconography, toys, and a vast bibliographic and documentary collection on primary education, from the Monarchy to the 1970s.

Visits take place from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm and between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Admission is free for children up to 11 years old, costs 1 euro for adults and children over 11 years old, and 50 cents for adults over 65 years old. Group visits, up to 25 people, require prior booking.
