Visit to Casa Gafanhoa

Casa Gafanhoa, built in 1929 and linked to the family of Virgílio Ribau and Maria Merendeiro Filipe, is presented as an example of the typical farmhouse of this region. The visit goes through spaces such as the courtyard, the granary, the cattle pen, the stable, the bedrooms, the master's room, the dining room, and the kitchens of the house and the oven.

The property is currently managed by the Grupo Etnográfico da Gafanha da Nazaré, and visits take place on Wednesday afternoons, by prior appointment.
