VAIANA

In this Disney live-action adaptation of the Oscar-nominated animated adventure, Vaiana (Catherine Laga?aia) answers the call of the ocean and sets out, for the first time, beyond the reef of her island of Motunui alongside the demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson).

Directed by Emmy and Tony Award winner Thomas Kail (“Hamilton”), the film is produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, Hiram Garcia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with executive production by Thomas Kail, Scott Sheldon, Charles Newirth, and Auli?i Cravalho. VAIANA includes original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa?i, and Mark Mancina, as well as an original score composed by Mancina.
