La Distance

In 2077, humanity lives between economic precarity and the effects of climate change, while part of the population is exiled on Mars. It is in this context that a father, on Earth, tries to keep in touch with his daughter who has left for the Red Planet.

In "La Distance", Tiago Rodrigues proposes a cosmic miniature about communication between generations and the consequences of human choices. The dialogue between the two characters unfolds as a series of calls from very, very, very long distance, within a rotating stage device that brings together and separates the bodies in orbit.

The performance features Adama Diop and Alison Dechamps, is spoken in French and subtitled in Portuguese. It lasts approximately 90 minutes and is intended for audiences aged 12 and over.
