A Simple Story

In *A Simple Story*, David Lynch follows the real journey of Alvin Straight, who travels 418 kilometres between Laurens, Iowa, and Mt. Zion, Wisconsin, aboard a John Deere 66. Along the way, he crosses paths with various people — from a runaway teenager to a Second World War veteran — and leaves his mark with his serene way of sharing life.
