September 2026 Rope Bullfights

During the month of September, the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo maintains the bullfighting atmosphere that marks the Terceira summer, with several events spread across different parishes. The programme brings together rope bullfights, young bull events and other bull-themed activities with young bulls, offering residents and visitors several occasions to follow this emblematic expression of Azorean culture.
