The Nigerian duo The Cavemen., formed by the brothers and partners Benjamin James and Kingsley Okorie, presents a contemporary take on highlife, a genre born in Ghana in the 19th century and marked by brass, jazz, and African percussion. Here, the sound is reduced to the essentials, with drums, bass, and keyboards, without losing its connection to its roots. The concert takes "Cavy in the City", the 2025 album, as its starting point, in a meeting between ancestral identity and global ambition.
