Taking Off

Miloš Forman’s comedy centers on Jeannie, a young woman who leaves the suburbs to go to New York in search of a career as a singer. In parallel, her parents embark on a search filled with tragicomic situations and cross paths with other parents of missing young people, in a portrait of generational conflict in the late 1960s.
