Solo by Ricardo Jacinto

In 2024, Ricardo Jacinto released his second solo album, continuing nearly ten years of research into an electroacoustic system developed as part of his doctorate at the Sonic Arts Research Center in Belfast. In this new cycle, he returns to the stage and to the ritual of the concert to explore the resonant and feedback possibilities of the amplified cello. The performance combines spatiality, harmony and spectrum, in a tectonic kind of music marked by repetition, slowness, weight and mass.
