Si Destinu, directed by Vanessa Fernandes in 2015, follows Awa, a teenager living in Lisbon with her father, Abdul, in a journey marked by the weight of family norms and traditions. The screening is followed by a conversation between curator and cultural critic Kitty Furtado and the director, centered on the film and Black Gaze.

The conversation starts from axes such as in-betweenness, memory and ancestry, ecology and feminism, anti-racism and family, extending the reading of the film beyond the screening.
