Shardik bring *Cruelty Bacchanal* to the stage, the group's second album for Tzadik, in a concert where references to heavy metal, free jazz, and classical composition intersect.

The proposal highlights the guitar of Matt Hollenberg, the violin of Sana Nagano, the bass of Nick Jost, and the drums of Danny Sher, in a repertoire built from pieces that break apart and reassemble in different ways, between tension, virtuosity, and constant shifts in direction.
