Born on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, and living in Lisbon, Romeu Bairos has been carving out an increasingly distinctive place for himself in the Portuguese-language song scene. A singer and musician with a background in the philharmonic band and conservatory training, he gained greater media attention after taking part in Festival da Canção.
