Rimas e Diálogos: Exhibition of Photography by António Carrapato

‘Rimas e Diálogos’ is based on the relationship between Évora’s city wall and its historic center to present 45 photographs by António Carrapato at Palácio de D. Manuel. The exhibition invites the public to move through images arranged in the room as if following a stretch of wall, evoking memories, secrets, lived experiences, and marks of a city that the wall has embraced and protected for more than 20 centuries.

The project was conceived at the invitation of the Municipality of Évora and returns to Carrapato’s characteristic gaze, marked by the interplay of colors, shapes, and unusual situations that runs through his photographic work. A native of Reguengos de Monsaraz, the author began his career in the 1990s and also built an authorial path, with a presence in group exhibitions, after studying photography at Ar.Co.

The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday, with free admission.
