Raw Rhythms, Cecilia Bengolea

Raw Rhythms marks the first exhibition by Cecilia Bengolea in Porto and Vila do Conde. Conceived in the context of a residency in Vila do Conde, between April and May 2026, the exhibition arises from a partnership with Solar — Galeria de Arte Cinemática and Festival Circular.

Starting from an investigation into the preservation of archaic dances and traditional crafts linked to maritime work, the exhibition brings together landscape, gesture and ritual to reflect on tradition, memory and identity. It is on view in the Foyer of Sala 2 and Sala-Filme and admission is free.
