Paintings and Madness

The Town Hall of Ponte da Barca hosts the exhibition «Pinturas e Loucuras», by Cristina Sardoeira, opening on 6 July at 18:00 and on view until 24 July. The visual artist, born in Rio de Janeiro and currently living in Gondomar, presents a set of works marked by rigorous technique, a strong narrative component and the central presence of the human figure. The exhibition combines irony, critical observation of everyday life and a constant dialogue between painting and the gaze of the viewer.
