Partículas Elementares: I Want the Moon!

*Eu quero a Lua!* follows Alice, a girl who lives in a country by the sea and who apparently has everything she could wish for, but who misses the Moon. From this impossible desire, the show builds a story about love, friendship, growing up, and childhood, showing how a child’s gaze can turn the unreachable into something close at hand.

Created by Partículas Elementares, the proposal combines puppetry, object theatre, and visual narrative in a pared-down stage device where manipulation and the actor’s presence are part of the show’s own language. The performance is by Carlos Silva, with staging by Leonor Bandeira, set and puppets by Planeta Zorg, and lighting and sound by Eduardo Alves. It is intended for family audiences and includes sessions at different times over the three days of performances.
