Os Maias - Companhia Nacional de Bailado

The Companhia Nacional de Bailado brings to the stage the first choreographic adaptation of *Os Maias*, based on the eponymous work by Eça de Queirós, in a ballet in three acts. Conceived by Fernando Duarte, the creation seeks to recover the narrative force of dance through a contemporary reading, marked by Queirósian irony and the link between tradition and innovation. The music features pianist António Rosado and soloists from the Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa, in a performance that brings together several CNB creators.
