ORQUESTRA das BEIRAS & RAFAEL AGUIRRE

The opening concert of the International Guitar Festival of Aveiro (FIGA) 2026 brings together the Beiras Orchestra and Spanish guitarist Rafael Aguirre in a classical music performance. The program centers on *Concierto para una Fiesta*, by Joaquín Rodrigo, a work composed in 1982 and marked by virtuosic writing and a festive Spanish-inspired character. Rafael Aguirre, an internationally established soloist, is accompanied by the Beiras Orchestra in a performance designed to highlight the guitar in dialogue with the orchestra.
