Workshop “Puppets Also Fly” + Show “Manuel, a poetic tribute to childhood of times gone by”

The Municipal Library of Caminha hosts a proposal by Krisálida that combines creation and performance: first, the workshop "As Marionetas também voam", inspired by the show "Manuel", invites participants to build, manipulate, and play with a bird puppet. Then comes "Manuel, a poetic tribute to childhood of times gone by", a fictional and romantic vision of the Portuguese rural world, made of object theatre, musical atmospheres, symbols, and rituals. The work and dreams of a generation, childhood, the mother, and nature run through this tribute.
