Custódio Castelo Octet

A gathering around the Portuguese guitar and the expansion of Guitarra d'Alma, with artistic direction by Custódio Castelo. In this session, the musician joins Miguel Carvalhinho’s Viola Beiroa and a tribute to João Roiz de Castelo Branco, spoken by the voice of Ana Paula Martins, in a programme that extends the work begun in 2013 in Almeirim and linked to ESART.

The concert is part of a series of performances designed for Castelo Branco on 26 and 27 September, bringing together tradition, instrumental creation and dialogue with other forms of expression.
