Sinopse

Flávio, an actor in marital crisis, returns to his mother's house while preparing a theatrical performance inspired by the book “A Poética do Devaneio”, by Gaston Bachelard. Desperate for a stage on which to perform, he will present the work in the streets of the city of Recife as a poetic manifesto. The year is 2016, and the country is sinking into a political crisis, while the artist submerges himself in his art as the only utopia left. During this journey, we see the affectionate relationship between mother and son, which also has its tensions, and Flávio's moments of deep sadness, compounded by the impeachment process of Dilma Rousseff, followed on TV, which will have severe consequences in everyone's life. A metonymy of recent Brazilian history.
