The Phenomenon of 'Perception': A Look at the Cooperativa Árvore Collection

The Municipal Art Gallery opens next Friday, 24 April, the collective exhibition “The Phenomenon of ‘Perception’: A Look at the Cooperativa Árvore Collection”, which will be open to the public until 19 July, in partnership with Cooperativa Árvore.

Bringing together works by 31 artists, the exhibition proposes a path centered on a fundamental idea: it is through the body that we perceive and understand the world. This concept is inspired by the thought of philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty, for whom “the body is our general medium for having a world”.
