On the Harvest Route 2026

Na Rota das Colheitas 2026 proposes a journey through the traditions of the municipality of Vila Verde, between August and November, with dozens of initiatives spread across various places in the area. The programme brings together practices linked to rural life, such as the rye threshing, flax beating, corn husking, grape harvest, and grape treading, alongside the apple, mushroom, and chestnut festivals.

Along the route there are also period costumes, agricultural tools, hearty snacks, Minho-style village festivals, fêtes, pilgrimages, food proposals, musical performances, and landscapes associated with the municipality's natural and built heritage. This edition reaches its high point in the Festa das Colheitas – XXXIV Feira Mostra de Produtos Regionais, which runs for five days and brings together the best of agricultural tradition, popular music, regional gastronomy, and local crafts.
