Abade de Vermoim Community Festival

The Abade de Vermoim Community Festival is part of the festival in honor of Our Lady of Abadia and combines religious celebration with popular entertainment. On Friday there is the opening of the festival, the candlelight procession, the performance by the Trio Musical “Pontas Soltas”, mini-disco, Ruizinho do Acordeão, and fireworks. On Saturday, the street parade and the Eucharist begin the day, followed by the recitation of the rosary, procession, performances by the Banda Marcial de Arnoso, the Rancho Folclórico de Mogege, and the Banda “The Sound Bag”, as well as a raffle and a session with a DJ and choreographer.
