Bibliographic Exhibition: “Uma Vida em Livros - O ...”

At CAS – Library, adult section, this bibliographic exhibition presents the legacy of António Simenta Carvalho, built over decades of reading, study, and life in the city. The collection brings together more than 5,000 books, including rare volumes and copies marked by time, and reflects interests ranging from literature, history, philosophy, and politics. The initiative also marks the fulfillment of the professor’s wish, respected by the heirs, who donated the books to the Sines Municipal Library.
