Mon Super-Héros

On stage, Elmano Sancho and Shahd Wadi bring theatre and poetry together in a performance that places side by side two journeys marked by exile, uprooting, and memory. He follows the path of his father, who emigrated to France in the 1970s; she speaks of the desire to return to Palestine in order, at last, to rest.

The play is built from this encounter between two voices that do not know each other, but recognize one another in the shared language. Portuguese appears here as a space of closeness, fragmentation, and also reunion, in a work that brings together personal history and collective memory.
